Roll fondant into a 1/8 in. (0.3 cm) to 1/4 in. (0.6 cm) thick log. Or use the Wilton Decorative Press set to create a log using the single circle insert.
Using a tip 3 (or any small round tip), pipe a row of string garland on the gingerbread.
Attach the garland, shaping as you go, and cut at the end. Repeat for additional rows.
