Welcome guests to your gingerbread house with a festive door made of fondant. Add piping, candies, or holiday sprinkles to make your door unique.

- Roll out fondant with rolling pin or Fondant Roller to 1/8 in. (0.3 cm) thick.
- Cut out the door shape with a knife.
- Brush the back side of the fondant with a damp brush or piping gel and position on the gingerbread.
- Rub gently to attach and smooth.

The door may be attached with dots of icing. Smooth dots with finger before attaching to prevent lumps.
Once the door is in place, you can pipe an outline and decorate the door with royal icing, candies or sprinkles.
