  1. Place 2 pretzel sticks on surface horizontally, so they are parallel.
  2. Using medium consistency royal icing and a decorating bag fitted with tip 2, pipe 6 evenly spaced dots down the length of each stick.
  3. Place sticks vertically on the dots over the 2 parallel sticks. Let dry overnight.
  4. Using a small angled spatula, spread royal icing “snow” on the gingerbread house base to cover the fence area, keeping the icing heavier near the fence line to provide support.
  5. Immediately, insert fence into base, piping more icing around each pretzel at the base for additional support.
