  1. If using pretzel sticks: Using medium consistency royal icing and a decorating bag fitted with tip 18, pipe horizontal lines of icing onto the wall, beginning at the bottom edge of the wall. NOTE: Only pipe icing on a small portion of the wall at a time to prevent the icing from drying before sticks are positioned.
  2. Position the sticks horizontally, placing them side by side to extend the row the entire width of the wall.
  3. Repeat with additional rows of icing and sticks until the entire wall is covered, trimming the sticks where needed to fit around the windows and door.
  4. If using pretzel rods: Using medium consistency royal icing and a decorating bag fitted with tip 18, pipe a line lengthwise on a pretzel rod.
  5. Beginning at the bottom edge of the wall, attach a rod horizontally to the house. Add additional pieces side by side as needed to extend the row the entire width of the wall.
  6. Repeat with additional rows of rods until entire the wall is covered, trimming the rods where needed to fit around the windows and door.
