Gingerbread Dog House

Stay connected with your pet this holiday season by decorating and displaying a gingerbread doghouse, complete with candy bones for trim. Kit includes everything needed: prebaked gingerbread panels, icing, candy bones and most importantly, an icing decoration dog!

Assemble gingerbread doghouse house according to directions. Let dry 3 to 4 hours.
Decorate sides and back of house. Use red icing to pipe icing on sides and back of house. Smooth with spatula. Use edge of spatula to mark vertical lines, ½ in. apart.
Decorate house front. Use red icing to outline door, following imprint; pipe icing in remaining area, smooth, do not ice door opening. Mark lines ½ in. apart. Use white icing to pipe dog bone above door. Attach dog icing decoration to door opening.
Decorate roof. Use red icing to outline imprinted divisions on roof. Pipe lines of icing to fill in roof peak. Use white icing to attach candy bones on roof between lines, alternating with dots of icing. Pipe a loose zigzag in white icing on front, back and both sides of roof eaves.
