It's easy to make tie-dye eggs by daubing and blending Icing Colors. White vinegar and a spray bottle aren’t needed with this kid-friendly project. With so many bright colors to choose from, you can make dyed eggs to suit any Easter basket.
Color Eggs. Use a clean spatula to remove a dab of icing color from each jar. Use a different spatula for each color.
Use the cotton swabs to apply two icing colors from the spatulas on the egg. Do not dip swab in the jar of icing color to keep food safe for future use.
Blend Colors. Use a paper towel to rub gel food coloring over the egg, blending colors and removing any excess color. Let dry in the egg carton for 1 to 2 hours.
