Cute Cacti Meringue Cookies

Set the scene for your garden party with these Cute Cacti Meringue Cookies. Made using an easy-to-prepare meringue mix, these cookies are great for serving alongside a succulent cake or cupcake arrangement.   1. Bake meringues. Prepare meringue mix according to package instructions. Combine Moss Green, Sky Blue and Lemon Yellow icing colors to get green color shown. Tint batter green using color combination provided.

    Prepare decorating bag with tip 199. On prepared cookie sheet, use pull-out star technique to pipe cacti. Bake and cool following recipe instructions.

  2. Prepare icing Prepare royal icing following recipe instructions. Reserve ¼ cup icing white. Combine Rose with touch of Sky Blue icing colors for light magenta color shown. Using color combination provided, tint remaining icing light magenta.
  3. Decorate meringues. Prepare decorating bag with tip 18 and light magenta icing. Pipe swirl drop flower on top of each meringue cactus.

    Prepare decorating bag with tip 2 and reserved white icing. Using pull-out dot technique, pipe needles on cacti.
