Using decorating brush from kit and piping gel, attach fondant circle to each cookie.

  2. Mix paints. In palette from kit, mix small amounts of Orange, Yellow and Burgundy icing colors, separately, with lemon extract (should be watercolor consistency).

Mix Brown icing color with very small amount of lemon extract (should be standard paint consistency).

  3. Decorate cookies.

Single trees: Using decorating brush and lemon extract, outline shape of treetops on fondant. Add touches of orange, yellow and burgundy colors, blending slightly.

Double trees and leaves: Using decorating brush and desired colors, outline and blend in tops of trees and leaves.

Allow cookies to dry, about 10 minutes.

Using decorating brush and brown color, add trunks, veins and stems.
