  1. Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cake in 9 x 13 in. pan.
  2. Form cake pops. Cut cake in half, reserving half cake for another project. Using remaining half of cake, crumble cake into large bowl, using hands to break up any large chunks. Add ½ cup icing; mix until well combined.

Form mixture into cake balls, about 2 tablespoons mix per ball. Place on parchment paper-covered cake board. Chill to harden, about 2 hours.

  3. Melt candy. Melt candy according to package instructions. Add EZ Thin if needed to thin candy. Dip tip of lollipop stick into melted candy; insert candy-covered tip into cake pop. Place cake pop into stand. Repeat with all cake pops. Chill until candy is set, about 15 minutes.
  4. Decorate cake pops. Combine assorted sprinkles in small bowl.

Allow cake pops to come to room temperature. Holding stick securely, dip cake pop into melted candy, tapping stick lightly on side of bowl to remove excess. Immediately add sprinkles. Place pop back in stand. Repeat with all cake pops. Chill until set, about 10 to 15 minutes.
