For easy removal, line the brownie pan with a sling of foil or parchment. To create the sling, take a piece of foil or parchment that is slightly larger than the pan. With the pan upside down, shape the foil or parchment over the outside of the pan bottom. Lift the foil or parchment off the pan, being careful to retain the shape. Turn the pan rightside up and set the foil or parchment inside it, creating a lining or sling.
