Sweet Messages Sandwich Cookies

Turn simple chocolate sandwich cookies into fun lunchtime greetings with these Sweet Messages Sandwich Cookies.   1. Melt Black Candy Melts candy. Melt black candy in small deep bowl according to package directions.
  2. Dip cookies. Using candy dipping fork, dip chocolate sandwich cookies in melted black candy, covering cookies. Tap lightly to remove excess. Transfer to parchment paper-covered cake board. Chill until set, about 10 to 15 minutes.

  3. Dip bottom half of cookies. Melt Yellow candy in small bowl according to package directions.

    Using round dipping tool, dip bottom half of cookie into melted candy (1 oz. of candy is enough to dip about 4 cookies). Transfer to parchment paper-covered cake board. Chill until set, about 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat step with remaining colors.

  4. Decorate cookies. Melt Bright White candy according to package directions. Add small drop of water to melted candy to thicken to writing consistency, adding more if necessary (if candy becomes too thick, add fresh Bright White Candy Melts to thin it out).

    Prepare decorating bag with tip 1 and white candy. Write messages on cookies. Chill until set, about 5 minutes.
