Sugar Writer Sparkling Sugar Brownies

Give your brownies a makeover with this Sparkling Sugar Brownies project!   1. Bake brownies. Line sheet pan with foil; spray with Bake Easy! spray.

    Prepare brownie mixes following recipe instructions. Bake and cool in sheet pan.

    Remove from pan; cut into 2 1/2 inch x 3 1/2 inch pieces.

  2. Prepare icing. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe instructions.

    Using Black icing color, tint 1/2 cup icing black.

    Reserve remaining icing white.

  3. Decorate brownies. Using tinted icing, Sugar Writer and sanding sugars, decorate brownies.

    Yellow Chevron, Black Chevron and Heart Brownies: Using white icing, spatula ice brownies smooth. Using Sugar Writer and Yellow and Black sugars, make designs on brownies.

    Black, White and Yellow Triangle Brownie: Lightly mark diagonal line on top of brownie. Using black icing, spatula ice one half smooth; repeat on other half with white icing. Using Sugar Writer and Yellow sugars, make triangle on white half of brownie.

    Striped Brownie: Using white icing, spatula ice brownie smooth. Prepare decorating bag with white icing; cut medium hole in tip. Pipe heart shape in center of brownie. Smooth with spatula. Cover in Yellow sugar using Sugar Writer. Prepare two decorating bags with tip 47; fill separately with white and black icing. Alternate piping horizontal white and black stripes on brownie.
