Bake Cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers. Trim to 2 ½ in high each. Fill and stack cake layers for a 5 in. tall cake.
Tint Icing Tint 3 cups icing blue using Royal Blue and some Rose. Tint 1/4 cup green, tint 1/2 cup rose, reserve 1 ½ cups white.
Ice Cake Ice cake smooth in blue icing.
Decorate Cake. Use tip 104 and rose icing to pipe 4 rows of alternating rosebuds, 2 in. apart on cake sides. Use tip 4 and green icing to pipe calyxes. Attach sugar pearls and jimmies from sprinkles mix to cake sides. Use tip 1M and white icing to pipe small swirls on cake top.
