1. - Cake Remove sprinkles from cakes (try to remove minimal frosting in the process)
2. - Remove bottom borders of frosting and set aside in a bowl for later.
3. - On the first cake, evenly spread any dollops or borders of frosting on the top of the cake so there is a complete ring of buttercream creating a dam to hold in fillings. (See photos)
4. - Squeeze half of the contents of the Wilton Toffee drizzle into the center of the top of the first cake.
5. - Crush up 2 Golden Oreos and sprinkle into the center.
6. - Remove the top border or dollops of frosting from the second cake and set frosting aside.
7. - Carefully flip the second cake upside down on top of the first cake, centered so the cake is straight.
8. - Remove the top cake board.
9. - To increase stability, insert a large straw down through the center of both cakes, and trim with scissors to be flush with the top.
10. - Gently press down on the top of the cake, making sure it's level.
11. - Frost the top of the cake with the extra buttercream scraped from the borders and dollops of the cakes.
12. - Smooth out frosting on the top and sides using a mini offset spatula.
13. - Using a fork, drag along the sides of the cake to create a rustic texture. You can also use a cake comb for this step if you have one.
14. - Decorations Using the remaining Wilton Toffee Drizzle, squeeze drips down the side of the cake at varying lengths. Depending on the temperature of your kitchen, you may need to microwave the drizzle for 10 seconds to soften it enough to drip. TIP: Do a test run on the side of a cup to test how far it drips down.
15. - Cover the top of the cake in the remaining Toffee Drizzle.
16. - Place White Pearl Sprinkles around the base of the cake.
17. - Melt the 8 oz of orange candy melts and the 2 tsp of vegetable oil in a heat safe bowl or cup for 30 seconds, and stir.
18. - Repeat, 1-2 more times until candy melts are almost completely melted.
19. - Microwave in shorter bursts, stirring every time until mixture is smooth. Add an additional 1 tsp vegetable oil if needed.
20. - Transfer candy melt mixture to a smaller more shallow bowl if possible that will still have room to fit an Oreo comfortably.
21. - Using a fork, dip the golden Oreos into the melts and flip to cover. When scooping the Oreo out, use a clean offset spatula to scrape the excess off the top, and then gently tap the fork with the Oreo on it a few times to allow excess to drip off back into the bowl.
22. - Carefully scoot the Oreo off of the fork using the offset spatula onto a piece of parchment paper, and allow to set.
23. - Repeat until you have 7 Oreos that turn out well.
24. - Once the Oreos have set, reheat candy melts if necessary to melt the mixture again.
25. - Dip just the bottom side of the covered Oreos and place back on the parchment to smooth out the bottom surface. Allow to set. BONUS: If you want to smooth the dipped Oreos out even more, heat a flat ceramic plate in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, and melt any harsh lines by quickly and gently pressing the dipped Oreos down on the plate wherever you want to smooth, wiggling slightly.
26. - Arrange Oreos on top on their sides in the shape of a pumpkin.
27. - Trim the cinnamon sticks to desired length and place in the center of the dipped Oreos.
28. - Crush an additional golden Oreo and sprinkle around the base of the pumpkin.
