Pretty Peppermint Gingerbread House

Christmas just isn't Christmas without gingerbread! A fun take on the classic, this Pretty Peppermint Gingerbread House is decorated with green, pink, white and red pouch icings, so no need to make and color your own! Candy canes add a fun twist to this house and the soft pink and bright red colors are sure to compliment almost any Christmas décor.

Pipe roof of house. Place house on cake board.
Using icing, bag and tip from house kit, pipe horizontal lines on roof of house. Reserve remaining icing.
Pipe front of house. Using red icing pouch with round tip, pipe row of beads about 3 in. from bottom of house.
Using white icing pouch with star tip, pipe row of shells overlapping red beads.
Using pink icing pouch with round tip, pipe row of dots above white shells.
Continue pattern, piping white shells, red dots then white shells, until you reach peak of roof.
Break off long end of candy cane, leaving the arched portion. Using icing in bag, attach candy cane arch to front of house. Pipe dot for door knob.
Pipe trees. Using green icing pouch with star tip, pipe trees on either side of door. Using pink icing pouch with star tip, pipe star on top of each tree.
Using red icing tube from house kit, pipe garland and dots on each tree.
Make windows. Break four candy canes into 1 ½ in. arches. Using icing in bag, attach to sides of house for windows (2 per side).
Using green icing pouch with star tip, pipe pull-out stars under windows.
Using red icing tube from house kit, pipe dots on green pull-out stars.
Decorate roof. Using pink, red and white icing pouches with star tips, pipe rope border, alternating colors, along front edge and down center of roof.
Using pink and red icing pouches with star tip, pipe random rosettes on roof.
Using pink, red and green icing pouches with star tip, pipe random stars on roof.
Using tweezers, place candy cane sprinkles from house kit randomly on roof.
Ice board with remaining icing. Add candies from kit in front of door to make walkway.
