  1. Bake Cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool three cake layers .

    Level, fill and stack layers for 5 in. high cake.

    Ice cake smooth with white icing. Use tip of spatula to make swirl on top of cake. Reserve remaining icing.

  2. Tint Icing.

    Combine Violet with touch of Royal Blue and Delphinium Blue icing colors to get periwinkle color shown.

    Tint 2½ cups white icing periwinkle using color combination provided. Using Orange icing color, tint 1/8 cup white icing orange. Using Leaf Green icing color, tint 1/8 cup white icing green.

  3. Pipe Bunnies.

    Prepare decorating bag with tip 1M and periwinkle icing. Pipe large rosette to form bottom of bunny. Pipe smaller rosette for head. Pipe two lines for ears. Repeat around entire cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers. Trim layers to 2½ in. high. Level, fill and stack layers for 5 in. high cake.

    Crumb coat cake. Chill until crusted, about 20 minutes.

  4. Decorate Cake.

    Prepare two decorating bags, separately, with tips 2 and 1. Fill tip 2 bag with orange icing. Fill tip 1 bag with green icing.

    Using orange and green icing, pipe carrots and leaves around sides of cake.

    Using tweezers, place sugar pearls around sides of cake.
