Paper and Pencil Cereal Treats

1. - Make the Cereal Treats: Place butter in a large saucepan and melt over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows have melted completely.
2. - Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
3. - Add crisped rice cereal and stir until the cereal is well coated in the marshmallow mixture.
4. - Spray the cavities of a mini loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. Press the cereal mixture into the cavities. Tip: Use a piece of parchment paper to press the cereal mixture down into the cavities and create smooth, even tops. Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
5. - Decorate the Notebook Paper Treats: Melt Bright White Candy Melts in tub according to package directions. Dip one side of a cereal treat in the candy and set on a piece of parchment paper. Tip: For a perfectly smooth surface, place the treats candy side down on the parchment paper and allow to set before removing. Repeat with 3 more treats until you have 4 treats coated with a white candy layer. Allow the candy to set.
6. - Melt Blue Candy Melts according to package directions. Place melted candy into a disposable decorating bag with the tip snipped off (or fitted with a #2 round tip). Pipe thin horizontal lines about 1/2-inch apart over the white candy to resemble lines of notebook paper (you should be able to fit 5 horizontal blue stripes on each treat).
7. - Melt Pink Candy Melts according to package directions. Place melted candy into a disposable decorating bag with the tip snipped off (or fitted with a #2 round tip). Pipe a single vertical line on the left side of the treat, about 1/2-inch from the edge, to complete the notebook paper look.
8. - Decorate the Pencil Treats: Use a knife to cut off the top two corners of the remaining 4 treats so that one end is a triangle. Dip the triangular tip into the tub of melted Bright White Candy Melts and set on a piece of parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining 3 treats. Allow the candy to set.
9. - Melt Light Cocoa Candy Melts in tub according to package directions. Dip the top of the white triangle tip into the melted candy to resemble the pencil lead for all 4 treats.
10. - Melt Pink Candy Melts according to package directions in a small bowl, mug, or Candy Melts Candy Melting Pot. Dip the bottom (flat) part of a treat into the melted candy to resemble a pencil eraser and set back on the parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining 3 treats. Allow the candy to set completely before serving.
