More Bling at the Holidays House #2
Silver and gold, shimmering stars and sparkle...this gingerbread house is covered in it! If you believe the more bling to the holidays, the better, this gingerbread house kit is for you.

- Make front door. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut 1 1/4 in. x 2 1/4 in. door. Attach door to house. Use icing to outline door and dot doorknob. Attach candy on door and for doorknob.
- Make all windows. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut six 1 in. x 1 ¼ in. windows. Use damp brush to attach sparkling sugar. Attach one to house front, one to house back, and two to each side. Use icing to outline windows and pipe windowpanes.
- Decorate house front. Hint: Place house on a sheet pan to catch excess candy and sugar. Use icing and spatula to cover top third of front of house. Press candy into icing. Use icing and pipe a line of icing below. Add candy.
- Outline house. Use icing to pipe zigzags at corners of house and icicles on eaves.
- Make side and back windows. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut two 1 in. x 2 ½ in. rectangles and attach for side windows. Attach candy adjacent to sides on windows. Cut three ¾ in. x 1 ¼ in. rectangles and attach for back windows. Use icing to pipe windowpanes.
- Decorate roof. Use icing and spatula to cover top half of roof. Press on sparkling sugar. Use icing to pipe a line on roof peak. Attach candy. Use icing to pipe icicles along eaves.
- Decorate base. Use icing and spatula to ice base. Attach candy for pathway. Use icing to pipe snow on house around base. Attach candy.
