Monkey Business Cupcakes

Have fun both making and eating these cupcakes. Using the Wilton Jungle Animals Fondant and Gum Paste Mold and Decorator Preferred Chocolate Fondant, you can whip up these cute monkey fondant toppers with perfect results.

  1. Make fondant monkeys. Use jungle animals mold and chocolate fondant to make monkeys. Combine brown icing color with white-white icing color to make light brown icing color. Use brush and light brown icing color to paint mouth and nose area. Let dry at least 1 to 2 hours.
  2. Make cupcakes. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cupcakes.
  3. Decorate cupcakes. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint icing light blue. Use tip 2A, cut disposable decorating bag and light blue icing to pipe swirl on cupcake top. Place monkey on top of cupcake.
