Make front door. Use white icing to outline and fill in door. Pat smooth. Use white icing to pipe candy canes on sides of door. Use red icing to pipe lines on candy canes. Use red icing to pipe dots above door. Attach candy for door window, decoration at bottom of door and doorknob. Use red icing to outline candy on door window.
Make all windows. Attach candy for window. Use red icing to attach candy on each side of window for shutters.
Decorate house front. Use white and red icing to attach candy in rows under eaves. Use white icing to attach candy above front window.
Outline house. Use white icing to pipe zigzags at corners of house. Attach candy.
Decorate roof. Use red and white icings and pipe vertical lines on roof. For wide lines, use white icing to pipe 2 to 3 lines side-by-side, and smooth together with finger dipped in cornstarch. Alternate with wide and narrow lines, piping a red line between two narrow white lines. Use red icing to pipe stripes on wide white lines. Use white icing to pipe zigzags on roof peak and attach candy. Use white icing to pipe icicles along eaves.
Decorate base. Use spatula and icing to ice base fluffy. Attach candy for pathway.
Decorate candy cane cookies. Cookie #1--use white icing and spatula to ice cookie smooth. Attach candy. Cookie #2--Use white icing to attach red and white candy to cookie.
