Melted Witch Cookies

1. - Bake Cookies Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. - In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. - In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add melted chocolate and beat until smooth. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating until smooth.
4. - Divide dough in half and form into 2 discs. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or until firm.
5. - On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough into a circle approximately 12 inches in diameter and 1/8-1/4 inch thick.
6. - Dip a 3-inch round cookie cutter in flour (repeating before each use) to cut circle shapes.
7. - Bake 8-10 minutes on an ungreased baking sheet. Cool cookies on the baking sheet 2 minutes before removing to a cooling grid to cool completely.
8. - Make Candy Melts Decorations Melt Light Cocoa Candy Melts according to package directions. Create the following designs onto a large piece of wax paper:
9. - Spoon melted candy into 24 1.5” circles. While still wet, add a Hershey's Kiss candy onto the center of each circle to create a witch's hat.
10. - Place the remaining melted candy into a decorating bag and snip off the tip. Pipe 24 broom heads with bristles onto the wax paper. While still wet, add a pretzel stick as a broom handle.
11. - Allow Candy Melts to cool completely before carefully peeling the decorations from the wax paper.
12. - Decorate Cookies Use Green Cookie Icing with the tip opened a smaller amount (for an outlining-sized opening) to outline a melted shape on each cookie. Allow to set for a few minutes before opening the tip more widely to flood inside the shape with the same icing. Use a toothpick to pop any bubbles in the icing.
13. - While still wet, add a Candy Melts witch's hat on the top of the melted shape, along with two small Candy Eyeball Sprinkles, and a pretzel stick and Candy Melts broom.
14. - Let the icing set completely (about 4 hours) before serving.
