Class Description

Take your baking and decorating skills to new heights with the Wilton Master Series Bundle—two transformative weeks of hands-on training in our state-of-the-art studio, offered at a 20% savings. This immersive program brings together five expertly designed modules that build a complete foundation in today’s most essential techniques.

Cake Baking Foundations kicks off the series with the science behind consistently perfect cakes—mixing methods, ingredient functions, and techniques that ensure reliable, professional results.

The three-part Modern Cake Design track develops your decorating artistry step by step: begin with contemporary buttercream piping, advance to mixed-media florals using wafer paper and buttercream transfers, and finish with multi-tier construction, fondant application, and gum paste embellishment.

In Master Pastry, you’ll dive into lamination, yeast fermentation, and finishing techniques while creating croissants, éclairs, cream puffs, tarts, and more—each day sending you home with a box of bakery-quality pastries.

Master Chocolate explores tempering, molded and hand-dipped confections, and the creativity behind fine chocolate showpieces, giving you a strong foundation in advanced chocolate craftsmanship.

Finally, Master Macarons demystifies these delicate French cookies through focused instruction in macaronage, piping, baking, flavoring, and troubleshooting.

Each Master Series graduate receives an official Wilton Sweet Studio certificate and chef’s jacket upon completion. This class is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE).
