Make front door. Use red icing to outline and fill in door. Pat smooth. Use white icing to fill in window and pipe dot doorknob. Use red icing to outline window. Attach candy around door.
Decorate house front. Use white icing to pipe scrolls. Attach candy.
Make side and back windows. Use white icing to fill in windows. Pat smooth. Use red icing to outline windows and pipe windowpanes. Use white icing to pipe scrolls and dots. Attach candy.
Outline house. Use white icing to pipe lines under eaves of house.
Decorate roof. Use spatula and white icing to ice roof smooth. Roll out fondant to 1/16 in. thick and cut into four strips, ¼ x 5 in. Attach to peak of roof with the center drape hanging at 1 ¼ and ¾ in. deep. Cut two 3/8 x 4 in. strips of fondant and attach to front edge of roof. Use red icing to pipe lines vertically on roof. Roll ¼ in. dia. logs of fondant, shape into loop and curls. Use white icing to outline loop and curls. Attach to roof peak. Attach candy.
Decorate base. Use spatula and white icing to ice base. Attach candy for pathway.
