  1. Lay a sheet of parchment on a cookie sheet or in a cookie pan. Place a cooling rack over the parchment. The parchment will catch excess icing or Candy Melts® which can be re-melted and used to cover additional treats.
  2. Place treat on cooling grid. Make sure the side you want coated is facing up.
  3. Pour a generous amount of ganache, melted candy or thinned icing on center of treat starting at the top center and working out and down. Cover the treat completely.
  4. Lightly tap the cookie pan on counter to smooth and remove excess. Let treat set until dry to touch. The amount of time needed depends on what icing or candy is used and the size of the treat.
  5. You can also pipe candy or icing from a disposable decorating bag. Melt candy in a bag or fill bag with thinned icing. Clip off about ¼” (0.635 cm) from the tip of the bag. Start piping at the top center of the treat and work out and down to cover the treat completely.
  6. You can completely cover all sides of a treat by coating the bottom first, allow it to dry, then turn it over and coat the top.
