How to Pipe a Succulent

    • 1.5 Inch Flower Nail No7

    • Pre-cut Icing Flower Making Squares

    • Standard Round Tip 8

    • 12-Inch Disposable Decorating Bags, 24-Count - 12-Inch Disposable Piping Bags

    • Standard Coupler

    1. Use a bag fitted with Tip 8. Hold the bag at a slight upward angle from the surface of the flower nail.
    2. Starting on the outer edge, squeeze hard to form the base of the leaf. As you squeeze, slowly pull the tip slightly upwards (this will give the leaf a little lift).
    3. Relax pressure as you pull away to form a leaf point. Stop squeezing before pulling tip away.
    4. Rotate the flower nail and repeat the motion until you create an outer row of leaves.
    5. Repeat the same motion as you pipe more rows to fill in the center of the succulent. As you move towards the center, position the tip at a higher angle until you are almost upright as you fill in the middle.
