How to Make a Pathway

Nothing says “welcome” more than a meandering path leading to a gingerbread home. The message can be easily conveyed with mini gum pieces, licorice, chopped Candy Melts, mini candy discs, cinnamon candies, sprinkles, jellybeans sliced in half lengthwise, sliced almonds, or chopped nuts.

  1. Using a Small Angled Spatula and medium consistency royal icing, spread the icing over the pathway area.
  2. Immediately position candy pieces, sprinkles, or nuts to cover entire area.
