Insert the iced end of the stick into a large marshmallow. This will be the “stand” to support the pole. Secure the stick by piping a ring of icing around the base. - Using the white royal icing bag with tip 3, pipe a large dot on the bottom of a yellow gum drop and attach to the top of the candy stick for the light.Tip: To help secure the gumdrop to the top of the peppermint stick, use a paring knife to carve out a small hole at the bottom of the gumdrop before adding a dot of icing. The hole will allow the stick to be easily inserted into the gumdrop. - Using thin black royal icing and a decorating bag fitted with tip 1, pipe 4 vertical lines evenly spaced around the gum drop to create 4 glass panes. - Using the white royal icing bag with tip 3, pipe a dot on top of the gum drop and attach a small round candy or large sprinkle.
