1. - Place 2 pretzel sticks on surface horizontally, so they are parallel.
2. - Using medium consistency royal icing and a decorating bag fitted with tip 2, pipe 6 evenly spaced dots down the length of each stick.
3. - Place sticks vertically on the dots over the 2 parallel sticks. Let dry overnight.
4. - Using a small angled spatula, spread royal icing “snow” on the gingerbread house base to cover the fence area, keeping the icing heavier near the fence line to provide support.
5. - Immediately, insert fence into base, piping more icing around each pretzel at the base for additional support.
