  1. Melt desired Candy Melts® colors in the microwave, using the Candy Melting Plate. With decorator brush, paint areas of candy molds with melted candy.
  2. Refrigerate mold a few minutes until candy is firm. For best results, if colors touch, paint one section of the mold at a time letting candy set before adding additional colors.
  3. To complete candy, use disposable decorating bag to fill mold to top with melted candy. Tap mold to release air bubbles and even out candy. Refrigerate until firm. Unmold by turning mold over and lightly tapping on counter. Candy should fall out. If it does not, return to refrigerator for a few more minutes.
  4. To add details after molding, melt candy in a disposable decorating bag. Clip about 1/8” (0.32 cm) off the tip of the bag. Squeezing the bag, pipe details like vines, messages, dots and lines.

Notes

  • You can paint candy-colored details on plastic or silicone molds. It’s easier to see where you have painted when using a plastic mold but contrasting candy colors will also show up inside of silicone as well. Give them both a try!
