   Melt candy. Melt Light Cocoa Candy Melts candy according to package instructions.

   Prepare a decorating bag with melted candy. Cut a small tip in the bag. Pipe 3 x 3 in. trees (24 needed for 24 cupcakes) on parchment paper-covered cake board.

   Immediately sprinkle with green, orange, yellow and red nonpareils. Chill until set, about 10 to 15 minutes.

2. - Bake cupcakes.Prepare cupcake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in unbleached baking cups.
3. - Make frosting. Prepare buttercream frosting following recipe instructions.
4. - Decorate cupcakes. Spatula ice the cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Sprinkle them generously with green, orange, yellow and red nonpareils.
