  • 4 to 4 1/2 cups Your favorite cupcake recipe or mix

  • White Decorator Icing - 4.5 lb.

  • Tools

  • Open Star Cake Decorating Tip 1M

    1M Open Star Piping Tip $1.90

  • Color Swirl, 3-Color Piping Bag Coupler, 9-Piece Cake Decorating Kit

  • Decorating Bags, 16-Inch Disposable Piping Bags, 12-Count

  • Perfect Results Premium Non-Stick Bakeware Muffin and Cupcake Pan, 12-Cup

  • Primary Colors Cupcake Liners, 75-Count

  1. Bake cupcakes in red and yellow liners according to the recipe directions. Let cool.

  2. Tint icing according the formulas listed above. Reserve 2 cups of white icing.

    Color Right Color Formulas Used:

    • Bright & Bold Yellow: 2 cups white icing + 2 O + 10 Y
    • Autumn Red: 2 cups white icing + 40 C
  3. Prepare bags with 3-Color Coupler and tip 1M. Fill separate bags with each color of icing; pipe swirl on top of cupcakes.
