- Bake cakes. Prepare cake mix following recipe instructions. Bake all 6” layers at the same time if possible.
- Tint main Icing for cake.Tint 3½ cups of icing blue using the color combination provided. Combine Royal Blue and Rose icing colors to get blue color shown.
- Stack cake. Level, stack and ice each cake layer. Ice cake smooth.
Tint Piping icing. Tint 1/3 cup of frosting dark orange, ? cup frosting yellow using color combinations provided. Combine orange and Christmas red icing colors to get dark orange color shown. Combine golden yellow and a touch of orange icing colors to get yellow color shown.
Using Orange icing color, tint 1/3 cup orange.
Using Teal icing color, tint ¼ cup light teal.
Using Royal Blue icing color, tint ½ cup icing dark blue.
Reserve remaining icing white.
Decorate cake. Using a toothpick, lightly draw pumpkins on cake.
Prepare three decorating bags with tip 5.
Fill decorating bags separately with light orange, dark orange and dark yellow icing.
Pipe pumpkins.Prepare a decorating bag with tip 4 and dark blue icing.
Pipe stems. Prepare two decorating bags with tip 3. Fill separately with light teal and white icing.
Pipe sprinkles around the sides and on top of the cake. Position Sugar Pearls on cake.
