GUM PASTE COLORS TINTED:
1. Tint ultra-concentrated gum paste. Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint gum paste in the following shades:
? Pastel Pink (formula 1895): 1 oz. gum paste + 1 P ? Autumn Green (formula 377): 1 oz. gum paste + 25 Y + 3 B + 2 BR + 1 BK 2. Mix ultra-concentrated color gum paste with white gum paste.
? For pink, knead a 1/2 in. ball of ultra-concentrated pink into 6 oz. white gum paste ? For green, knead a 1/2 in. ball of ultra-concentrated green into 1 oz. white gum paste FONDANT COLORS TINTED:
Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint fondant in the following shades:
? Neutral Sand (formula 7506): 24 oz. fondant + 1 BR + 1Y ? Winter Ice Blue (formula 2905): 24 oz. fondant + 1 BK + 1 B Also tint an additional 12 oz. of sand fondant as follows:
1. Tint ultra-concentrated fondant.
? Neutral Sand (formula 7506): 1 oz. fondant + 1 BR + 1 Y
2. Mix ultra-concentrated color fondant with white fondant.
? Knead a 3/4 in. ball of ultra-concentrated sand into a 12 oz. white gum paste.
Combine all sand fondant to make 36 oz. used to cover cake.
ICING COLOR TINTED:
Use Color Right base color and QuickCount color formula to tint icing in the following shades:
1. Tint ultra-concentrated icing. Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint icing in the following shades:
? Winter Ice Blue (formula 2905): 1/4 cup icing + 1 BK + 1 B 2. Mix ultra-concentrated color icing with white icing.
? For 6 in. cake: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons ultra-concentrated blue to ½ cup white icing. ? For 10 in. cake: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons ultra-concentrated blue to 1 cup white icing. ? Reserve remaining 4-3/4 cups icing white
