1. - Bake Cupcakes: Using your favorite recipe or mix, bake and cool chocolate cupcakes in cupcake liners.
2. - Decorate Cupcakes:Pink and Black Spiderweb Cupcakes. Cover the top of the cupcake with pink icing and spread smooth using an offset spatula. Add rose gold sanding sugar to a small bowl and roll the top of the cupcake in the sanding sugar to coat evenly. Use black icing with the writing tip to add a spiderweb pattern on top. To do this, make 3 intersecting lines on top of the cupcake, then add curved lines between the straight lines, first at the perimeter from the edges of each straight line, then another row of curved lines halfway between the edge and center of the cupcakes.
3. - Mummy Cupcakes. Add two medium size Candy Eyeball Sprinkles to the top of the cupcake, securing each with a small dot of frosting. Use white icing with the ribbon tip to make wide stripes across the cupcake, slightly overlapping the eyes. After doing one zig-zag layer over the cupcake, add another layer of random diagonal stripes to fill in large gaps.
4. - Pink and White Ghost Cupcakes. Cover the top of the cupcake with pink icing and spread smooth using an offset spatula. Add a thick dot of white icing towards the top of the cupcake, slightly off center to the left. Use an offset spatula to press into the dot then pull downward and to the right to make a pulled-dot ghost shape. Add two of the smallest size Candy Eyeball Sprinkles onto the ghost.
5. - Pink Jack-O-Lantern Cupcakes. Use pink icing with the star tip to pipe a pumpkin on the center of the cupcake. To do this, start with a vertical stripe, followed by curved lines which will be the outside of the pumpkin. Add slightly curved lines to cover the gaps, then finally, add one more vertical line in the center. Dust the pumpkin with rose gold sanding sugar. Use black icing with the writing tip to add two triangular eyes and a zig-zag line mouth for the Jack-O-Lantern. Change the black icing tip to the star tip and pipe a thick border around the pumpkin.
