This delicious apple crisp recipe is perfect for serving at your next fall holiday or celebration. Filled with the flavors of Granny Smith apples, brown sugar and cinnamon, this dessert is best served with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare 9 in. square pan with vegetable pan spray.
In a large bowl, toss apples with sugar, flour and cinnamon until apples are coated; pour into prepared pan.
For topping, in a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Using a pastry blender or two forks, cut in butter until mixture forms pea-sized pieces. Sprinkle topping over apple mixture.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown. Let cool in pan on cooling grid 15 minutes; serve warm.
