  1. Make and bake a cake. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray the cake pan with nonstick pan spray. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix of your choice, the pudding mix of your choice, eggs, water and oil.

Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour cake mixture into the prepared cake pan.

  2. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then remove cake from the pan to a cooling grid to cool completely. Then, divide the cake in half and freeze one half for future use.
  3. Form the egg-shaped cake pops. Using your hands, crumble the cake until no large chunks remain. Add some icing, mixing with fingers until it’s well combined.
  4. Next, take 2 tablespoons of the cake mix and form it into an egg-shaped cake pop (each cake ball should be about 1 1/2 inch diameter) until no mix is left and then chill them in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until they’re set.
  5. Insert the cake pop sticks. Once the egg-shaped cake pops have set, melt Bright White Candy Melts Candy according to the package instructions, then dip the tip of the stick into the melted candy and push it gently into the cake pop. Insert into cake pops decorating stand and let them set for about 10 minutes. Reserve the remaining melted white candy.
  6. Create blue and green candy colors for dipping. Use the blue candy color from the primary color set to tint one 12 oz. melted package Bright White Candy Melts Candy blue.

Use the green candy color from the garden color set to tint one 12 oz. melted package Bright White Candy Melts Candy green.

  7. Dip egg-shaped cake pops in melted candy. Melt the other Candy Melts Candy colors according to the package instructions. Alternate dipping the cake pops in the various colors.
  8. Submerge them completely before slowly removing them and tapping the coated cake pops lightly against the side of the bowl to help keep the candy coating as uniform as possible.
  9. Transfer to a cake pop decorating stand and when all have been coated, place them in the refrigerator to chill for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. Drizzle egg-shaped cake pops with white candy. Prepare parchment bag with tip 2 and melted white candy. Drizzle white candy over cake pops. When done, return them to the fridge to chill for another 3 to 5 minutes so drizzle coating can set.
  11. Accent egg-shaped cake pops with white Pearl Dust. Before enjoying, use a decorating brush to accent cake pops with white Pearl Dust.
