Ingredients

  • Your favorite cake recipe

  • White Nonpareils, 3 oz. - Cake Decorating Supplies

  • Gold Pearlized Sugar Sprinkles, 5.25 oz.

  • White Sparkling Sugar, 8 oz.

  • Pink Sugar Pearls, 5 oz.

  • Color Right Performance Food Coloring Set

  • White Decorator Icing - 4.5 lb.

  • Tools

  • Straight Stainless Steel Spatula, 9-Inch

  • Perfect Results Premium Non-Stick Cooling Rack, 16 x 10-Inch

  • Round Cake Decorating Tip 3

  • 12-Inch Disposable Decorating Bags, 12-Count

  • Countless Celebrations Cake Pan Set, 10-Piece Letter and Number Cake Pan

  1. Bake cake. Use instructions in tin packaging to form “5”. Bake and cool cake. Remove from pan. Use edge of insert or knife to trim corners.
  2. Prepare icing. Tint icing following formulas provided. Transfer to decorating bags prepared with tip 3.

    Use Color Right base colors and QuickCountTM color formulas to tint icing in the following shades:

    • Dark Pink: 1/2 cup white icing + 20P
    • Light Pink: 1/2 cup white icing + 5P + 1R
    • Teal: 1/2 cup white icing + 2B + 1Y
    • Coral: 1/2 cup white icing + 1R + 1O
    • Reserve remaining icing white.
  3. Decorate cake. Using spatula and white icing, ice top and sides of cake smooth.
  4. Mix together equal parts White Sparkling Sugar, Gold Pearlized Sugar, White Nonpareils, White Sugar Pearls and Pink Sugar Pearls. Lightly press sprinkle mixture half way up sides of cake.
  5. Use tinted icing to pipe various crowns, names and other decorations on top of cake.
