Christmas Express Gingerbread Train

Make a cute cookie train to celebrate the Christmas season. Fill with candy and place under the tree or on your holiday table. Everyone in the family will join in the fun. Everything you need is included in the kit!

On all: Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick and cut into 1 ½ in. dia. circles for wheels. Attach with dots of icing.
Engine: Cut 1 ½ in. square fondant for windows. Attach with icing. Use white icing to outline windows. Use red icing to pipe in curtains. Attach candy to bottom edge. Use white icing to pipe smoke. Use white icing to pipe dots and attach candy. Use red icing to pipe dots; use green icing to pipe beads. Use red icing to pipe vertical line dividing engine. Outline with green icing. Use white icing to attach candy to wheels. Use white icing to pipe line between wheels and attach candy. Attach candy to front of engine.
Middle car: Use white icing to cover top of car. Smooth with spatula. Attach candy to top edge. Use green icing to pipe scrolls. Use red icing to pipe dots. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick and cut four ½ x ¾ in. windows. Attach with icing. Use green icing to outline windows and windowpanes. Attach candy. Use white icing to pipe line between wheels and attach candy.
Caboose: Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick and cut to fit top edge. Attach with dots of icing. Use white icing to outline fondant panels and pipe angled lines. Use red icing to pipe angled lines. Attach candy to top edge. Use green icing to pipe crosses on sides and attach candy. Use white icing to pipe line between wheels and attach candy.
