Making surprise eggs using Wilton Candy Melts® lets you eat the candy egg and the candy inside! These eggs are perfect to place in Easter baskets and use in an egg hunt.

- Knife
- Jelly beans
Make candy eggs. Melt Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Place about a teaspoon of melted candy into each egg cavity. Brush candy evenly up sides of molds. Chill until firm, about 5-10 minutes. Repeat two more times. Chill until firm, about 10 minutes. Level edges of egg molds using a knife. Place in freezer for 10 minutes to release candy shells from mold.
Assemble candy eggs. Fill half of the eggs with jelly beans. Brush edge with melted candy, join egg halves to seal. Fill with jelly beans.
