Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1-1/2 cups butter, softened

  • 2-1/2 cups granulated sugar

  • 5 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3/4 teaspoon Wilton Imitation Almond Extract

  • 1 cup milk

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line muffin pans with baking cups.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs and extracts; mix well. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to butter mixture; mix well. Fill baking cups about 2/3 full with batter.
  3. Bake 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool in pan on cooling rack for 5 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely.
