Nothing may rhyme with orange, but blueberry pairs perfectly with it for a sweet-tart combo that brings this Blueberry Orange Loaf to life. Use the loaf pan from your Advance Select bakeware set to make this tasty treat, then drizzle it with an orange-flavored glaze for an extra bit of fruity flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1-2/3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tablespoon orange zest,

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 cup Fresh blueberries

  • 1-1/4 cups confectioners' sugar

  • 2-3 tablespoons orange juice

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare 8 in. x 4 in. loaf pan with vegetable pan spray.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Gradually beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well. Beat in orange zest. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to batter in 3 additions. Gently fold in blueberries; spoon into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 65-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes on cooling grid. Turn bread out of pan and cool completely.
  4. For glaze, whisk confectioners’ sugar and orange juice in small bowl. Drizzle over cooled bread.
