Blooming Succulent Cookies

Make cookies that are literally blooming with color with these Blooming Succulent Cookies. Made by striping a decorating bag with icing, these succulent cookies use the pull-out dot method to create a spiky decoration that makes these cookies look like the real deal.   1. Bake cookies. Prepare cookie dough following recipe instructions. Roll out dough to 1/8 in. thickness. Using “C” and “D” cut-outs, cut out dough. Bake and cool cookies.
  2. Tint icing. Combine Juniper Green and Royal Blue icing colors for dark blue color shown. Combine Rose and touch of Violet for light purple color shown. Tint 1¼ cups icing dark blue and ¾ cup icing light purple using color combinations provided.
  3. Decorate cookies. Prepare decorating bag with tip 8; using spatula, stripe bag with light purple icing. Fill with dark blue icing.

    Starting at outer edge of cookie, pipe pull-out dots around entire cookie. Continue towards center of cookie, raising bag slightly at start of each new round.
