Bacon Cheeseburger Nachos

As if any game day recipe is complete without bacon—This takes nachos to the next level. Everything you want in a plate of nachos and more, including an entire pound of homemade bacon bits, zesty ranch dressing and an extra kick from sliced Jalapeños.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) bacon

  • 1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef

  • 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning blend

  • 1 package (16 ounces) tortilla chips

  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) shredded cheddar jack cheese

  • 1/2 cup diced Vidalia onion

  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

  • 1 1/2 cups diced roma Tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup drained sliced pickled jalapeno peppers

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Place on paper towels to drain; crumble when cool. Drain all but 1 tablespoon drippings from pan; discard.
  3. Add ground beef and hamburger seasoning blend to pan; cook 8-10 minutes or until beef is cooked through. Drain.
  4. Place half of tortilla chips on Mega Cookie Pan; top with half of onion, half of crumbled bacon, half of crumbled beef and half of cheese. Top with remaining chips, onion, bacon, beef and cheese. Bake 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and chips are warm.
  5. Top with lettuce, drizzle with ranch dressing, and sprinkle with tomatoes and jalapeno peppers. Serve immediately.

    Makes 10-12 servings.
