Vegan Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 cup Organic cane sugar

  • 1/2 cup Vegan butter

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1 teaspoon Clear Imitation Vanilla Extract, 2 oz.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9 in. x 5 in. loaf pan.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and walnuts. In large bowl, stir together bananas, sugar, butter, applesauce and vanilla. Add flour mixture to banana mixture; stir just until combined. Pour into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to cooling grid; cool completely.
