- Bake cookies. Prepare cookie dough recipe following recipe instructions. Roll dough to ¼ in. thickness. Using “D” cut-out, cut out cookies. Bake and cool.
- Tint icing. Divide icing equally into two portions. Tint one portion light purple and one portion medium purple using color combinations provided. Combine Rose and Violet icing colors to get light purple and medium purple colors shown.
Decorate cookies. Prepare decorating bag with tip 8; fill with ¼ cup light purple icing. Prepare second decorating bag with tip 2; fill with ¼ cup medium purple icing. Set both bags aside.
Prepare two decorating bags separately with tips 1G and 1B. Fill each bag separately with remaining light and medium purple icing. Pipe swirl drop flowers on cookies.
Using bags with tips 2 and 8, pipe centers of flowers, using light purple to pipe center for medium purple flowers and medium purple to pipe center for light purple flowers.
