Star Wars Lightsaber Cupcakes

Who can resist a lightsaber, especially when they're on a cupcake made in a Star Wars Baking Cup. Even your youngest Starfighters can help make these pretzel sticks dipped in Candy Melts Candy.

- Your favorite cupcake recipe or mix
- Pretzel sticks, about 60
- Tweezers (recommended)
Melt candy. Melt red and orange Candy Melts candy separately in dipping containers following package instructions.
Dip pretzels. Dip 24 pretzels each in red and orange melts, covering about 2 inches of the pretzel. Tap to smooth and remove excess candy. Immediately dip in red or orange sugar. Place on parchment-covered board. Chill until set, about 5-10 minutes.
Cut 24 pretzel pieces into 3/4 inch long pieces. Holding pieces with tweezers, dip in red candy; cover with red sugar. Chill on parchment-covered board until set, about 5-10 minutes. Attach with melted candy in cut disposable decorating bags to large red candy dipped pretzel. Chill until set, about 5-10 minutes. Using candy, attach 2 lightsabers together and chill until set, 5-10 minutes.
Bake cupcakes. Use your favorite cupcake recipe or mix to bake 24 cupcakes in Star Wars baking cups. Cool completely.
Ice cupcakes. Place icing in 16 inch decorating bag fitted with round tip 2A. Pipe icing swirl onto cupcakes.
Decorate cupcakes. Attach pretzels to cupcakes with icing in a cut disposable bag. Let set 5 minutes.
Serve cupcakes. Position cupcakes on decorating stand.
