Ingredients

  • Favorite Chocolate Cake Mix or Recipe

  • Brown Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Decorator Preferred White Fondant, 24 oz. Fondant Icing

  • Buttercream Frosting

  • Teal Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Juniper Green Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Black Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Moss Green Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Tools

  • Non-Stick Cooling Grid - 14.5 x 20-Inch - Cooling Rack

  • Recipe Right Muffin Pan, 12-Cup Non-Stick Muffin Pan

  • Fondant Roller, 9-Inch

  • Decorator Preferred 9inch Angled Spatula

  • Kraft Paper Cupcake Liners, 75-Count

  • Craft knife

  • Ruler

  1. Bake cupcakes. Prepare chocolate cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in kraft cupcake liners.
  2. Tint fondant. Tint 4 oz. fondant each sage green, olive green and light green using color combinations provided. Using Moss Green icing color, tint 4 oz. fondant moss green. Using Juniper Green icing color, tint 4 oz. fondant juniper green. Combine Juniper Green and Teal icing colors to get sage green color shown. Combine Moss Green, Brown and touch of Black icing colors to get olive green color shown. Combine small amounts Black and Juniper Green icing colors to get light green color shown.
  3. Make fondant leaves and ribbon roses. Using ribbon rose technique, make 12 medium and 12 large ribbon roses using sage green, olive green and light green fondant, 4 of each color (one rose per cupcake).

    Using leaf technique, make 24 leaves using moss green and 24 leaves using juniper green fondant (two leaves per cupcake).

  4. Make icing. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe instructions.
  5. Decorate cupcakes. Using spatula and buttercream icing, ice cupcakes. Top one rose and two leaves on each cupcake.
