  1. Tint icing. Combine Juniper Green and Royal Blue icing colors to get dark spruce color shown. Combine Juniper Green and a touch of Royal Blue icing colors to get jade green color shown. Combine Royal Blue and Juniper Green icing colors to get dark pine green color shown. Combine Moss Green, Sky Blue and Lemon Yellow icing colors to get sea green color shown. Combine Moss Green and Lemon Yellow icing colors to get olive color shown. Combine Leaf Green and Lemon Yellow icing colors to get bright green color shown. Combine Lemon Yellow and Golden Yellow icing colors to get medium yellow color shown. Tint ½ cup vanilla decorator icing each dark spruce, pine green, sea green, olive green, bright green and medium yellow using color combinations provided.
  2. Prepare decorating bags. Prepare 2 bags with couplers. Fill one with yellow icing and tip 104, one with jade icing and tip 8. Prepare 5 decorating bags separately with tips 1G, 352, 1B, 18 and 2F. Fill bags as follows:

    • 1G – spatula stripe with jade and yellow icing
    • 352 – spruce green icing
    • 1B – spruce green icing
    • 18 – spatula stripe with bright green and olive green icing
    • 2F – spatula stripe with bright green and pine green icing

    • Pipe flowers. Using various tips and bags, pipe star drop flowers, swirl drop flowers, rosettes, leaf tip flowers and round tip flowers on waxed paper-covered squares; transfer to cake board. Freeze until set, about 30 minutes.
    • Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers. Using creamy decorator icing, fill and stack for 5 in. high cake.
    • Decorate cake. Arrange flowers on cake, starting at top and moving down in a diagonal line down front of cake. Fill in with additional tip 18 drop flowers and leaves.
