  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups whole pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
