  1. Tint icing. Combine Rose and Sky Blue icing colors to get dark fuchsia color shown (you will need almost an entire 1 oz. tub Rose icing color to get deep color shown). Tint 3 cups vanilla decorator icing dark fuchsia using color combination provided (icing will get darker as it sits).
  2. Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two 6 in. cake layers. Trim layers to 1½ in. high. Using creamy icing, fill and stack layers for 3 in. high cake. Ice cake smooth using creamy white icing.
  3. Decorate cake. Prepare five decorating bags separately with tips 1B, 1G, 2F, 2C and 225. Fill equally with dark fuchsia icing. Using tips 1B, 1G, 2C and 2F, starting at top of cake, pipe stars, filling in entire top of cake. Continue just over top edge of cake. Using tips 2C, 2F and 225, pipe random stars around sides of cake.
